In-App messages or notifications appear inside an app, while the app is open. They can appear as banner messages and/or notifications. They are used to communicate with the user. For instance, if there’s no data or net connectivity, an in-app message will pop up asking the user to check their connection. These messages can appear anywhere on the application, usually at the top or bottom. The message can be programmed to be displayed or appear for a fixed duration. In-app messages can also animate the user’s screen, depeding on the type of message.
